eye doctor
Mar. 10th, 2008 09:33 pmHey finally a doctor with good news. THe diabetes hasn't effected my eyes and my vision stayed the same. Woot. The only odd thing is he wants to redo my glaucoma test...
And I finally convinced him my glasses were old and I needed a new pair. Of course he sends me out to look at them with dilated and dyed eyes which means I can't put the contacts on. Sigh.
The problem is I can't see. Not at all. I can not even with my nose to the glass see my reflection in the mirror. How the hell do I know if a frame looks good? I'm going back later in the week.
And OMG if i thought MY glasses were tiny, they're even more microscopic now. I swear my eyeballs are bigger than the lenses. Thank god I barely wear glasses. I'm not sure WHAT I'm expected to see with these. The only things as big as the tiny things I have now were a Saks fifth avenue pair that might be more than I want to pay. And....they've brought back the 1980's plastic frames. Ugh, those were ugly back then. Oh and 'square' is hip or so I've been told.
Came home and graded essays barely able to see out of my dilated eyes. Probably better that way.
