No really. We hit the conference room with wine and cheese. Gah.
So I paid lots of money for the furred spawn of Satan today so I guess Kyo's officially mine. He took a turn for the worse last night but in a good way it was a good thing, diagnostic if nothing else. He's definitely got an infection and not allergies but the antiobiotic wasn't hittingit. He was feverish.
He was an absolute angel in the car. Not a peep out of him. Once he's better I'm going to ride him around for fun. He was good at the vet's. They gave him an injectible antibiotic (after we checked for feline leukemia). I want to know the pharmacokinetics of that one since it's good for a week.We didn't do anything else.I drop by next week to get the flea/dewormer stuff since the vet didn't want to load him up too much. After that denutifying and vaccines. And yeah he really needs the denutifying. He's a bully. Poor Roy.
I knew I was doomed today when I was talking to Mom on the phone and suddenly Roy runs across the living room on his BACK paws, his front ones waving in the air so he could kill the kitten. Then later (still on the phone) I hear Roy crying. Kyo is lying so he's barring one water bowl and has the other bowl between his paws and he's slapping Roy every time he tries to drink. Kyo is so bad. He took a flying leap after a toy, landed on the ottoman in a belly flop then fell off just so Roy couldn't have the toy.
But as I said, evil IS contagious and I hear a noise later and look over and Roy has discovered the book case and is pushing the books off. Even as I type this Kyo is trying to eat the mouse, has stolen my diabetic lancet plunger and is now eating my chair. Oh someone is getting a training pistol tomorrow. The vet thinks he's an august baby. That can't be good.
In writing news, just let me say after I submit my novel is NOT the time to look at chapter 9 and think wow what was the rush here? Needs work. Head desk.
So who wants to take frick and frack off my hands?
