writerly ways
Jul. 25th, 2010 09:43 pmI almost had nothing for this week then I had a thought about stoking the muse. What do YOU do to keep the muse going, besides actually writing.
For me, it's car time. The sad thing about living so close to work is I don't have disconnected time in the car to just write. This is why I love to drive around. My brain gets moving. Now the hard part is remembering it all when i get home.
Coffee houses do it for me too. Yeah that's cliche I know. Libraries too. I need to disconnect from the net and just write. It's not the same doing it at home because I see the things I need to clean or do and it throws me off.
My muse like music too so sometimes just putting on the right cd helps.
As for my writing, yeah let's just call it too hot to write. The only progress I made was on the elf thing
total for the year -
