Iktomi. Most of my current flist never got to hear Iktomi stories. He was a character. Tonight, Kanda about had had enough of being inside. He wanted out but didn't fight me over it. He then broke a toy out of spite. However, tonight he became Iktomi. Iktomi loved to sit on the tub and pull on my toes or try to sit on me or play with the bubbles.

Kanda often sits by the tub while I bathe and read. Occasionally he sits up like a meercat to see the water. Tonight he leapt onto the lip then walked out onto me. He was unimpressed with protestations of a) I am NOT an island no matter how big I am. b) I'm trying to read here.

He played in the water. Fought me over the right to drink the bubbly stuff (I won) then sat the rest of the tub time on the lip, looking longingly at the water.

Tracfone wins dumbass company of the week award. I mentioned I got a new phone. I said does this require a signature for fedex? no ma'am it doesn't. Okay send it to my home instead of work. Yeah, it DOES. morons. Here's hoping i get it ...

Also I need to find a way to video record me playing with Kanda because you need to see him bunnykick himself in the head every time he plays.

I'm tired. I spray foamed the hole in the bathroom shut. THank god Dad warned me about this stuff. It might clot off. The can says you get one shot at this. A whole paint can sized thing and you're going to use a tiny bit and it's done.

Hell it clotted off in the nozzle but I got it done. THen I spent the night wide awake listening to the mice chew on the foam. I can not live like this.

with this meme thing, I ended up talking about some of the old anime I used to like. Gatchaman came up. I did forget to mention, chaos_by_design that they redid Gatch in the late 90's/early 2000's. It wasn't bad, wasn't great. I have it on vhs somewhere. Then tonight a friend sent me this. Gatchaman. It looks interesting but 100% cgi-ed stuff seems so...soulless to me. I don't know how i feel about this.

Roy Mustang (Fullmetal Alchemist)


Let's face it. Roy is smart, sexy and the dude plays with fire. How cool is that? He can angst with the best of them and make being a brat amazingly sexy. And the way his hand is ALWAYS in a pocket, he must be an expert at getting himself off. Roy is one of my favorite characters in a long long time.

2. Your least favorite character

Lynn Minmay (Robotech)



This was another tough one. It could have easily been Mei (FMA) or Yuki Cross (vampire knight) but I've hated Lynn Minmay for about 25 years now. The most hysterical part of this is in getting this picture I found it in the top 10 most annoying animated character's list... as #1. So I'm not the only one who thinks Minmay should have been blown out the nearest airlock. This whiney little diva made me want to punch the tv on a regular basis. She was supposed to be the best singer in the world stopped a war due to her singing because the enemy had never heard singing before (and hey, still haven't since shudder...) Poor Rick Hunter...at least he came to his senses
