There is no underestimating just how much I loved Yellow. He was a freedom Fighter. He was a cross dressing pop star. He was hot and sexually ambiguous and we ate it up with a spoon. The very first novel I ever finished was inspired by Yellow (so yes my first hero out to save the world was a crossdressing alien forced into sexual slavery and was kept as a boy toy by his sister. I was always a little fucked up)

Yellow could sing. He would be the perfect Karaoke partner. I'd pretend to sing and he'd carry the song and we'd win. Don't believe me. Have a look. Dig the 80's outfits Yellow is rocking. This was hot anime back in the day. Love that lumpy, we can't draw hands style...(seriously we thought this was good)

All you kiddies trying to find OST's on downloaded mp3's (ha, just downloaded two today myself) I had to find OST's on record. Do you know how hard that was? I only got this one because Robotech was just that popular. I still have it. I knew every word to this song. Listening to it now...yeah I STILL know every word. I'm such a geek.

Yeah, I'm not even going to pretend Walter's not totally homely but he's an excellent butler and hit man. He'll fuck your shit up with those piano wire things of his. He can keep my house in order and protect me if I need it. What more can you ask

YELLOW!!!! I LOVED YELLOW.

It's hard to believe that Mospeada was produced by the same company that did Gatchaman. The art style so totally devolved by that time. It was very sad to realize that.

I still remember when the rest of the crew found out Yellow was a MAN. Stick? No, the red-haired guy - was SO crushed. :D

I am older than you are, but I think young. I hated Minmei to bits. I rejoiced when she took up with her loser cousin, I hoped he'd keep her.

Ah, yes, I remember Yellow! The main reason I want to see ALL of Robotech again (or even the original anime it was swiped from!). (I have the Macross soundtracks, but never did get the Yellow Dancer music.)

I keep trying to figure out how I could afford to get it on DVD; I know they really cannibalized the last two series to make it fit, but I REALLY loved Robotech when it was on.

And really, if it hadn't been for Robotech, I doubt anime itself would have become so popular in the States. (It would have been left for us nerds alone!)

Well, it's not being produced anymore, but I just found "The Complete Collection" used on Amazon for about $30.

Maybe if it's still there I'll get it come payday, if I have the extra.
