Needed a character for a paragraph where a young woman; disguised as a man, was crossing a border into Saudi Arabia. That Army Major became a major, and pivotal, character in the story.

Sadly, the story, written in the stone age, is sadly lost, but I have learned to listen to those voices.

Been working lots of stories lately; whittling away; finally figured out a way into writing one of them and posted the first installment just a few minutes ago.

Revised a scene in a old fic and wound up adding 124 words to it as well as fixing 3 errors that were spelling/grammar mistakes (words spelled correctly, but grammatically incorrect). I also proofread a friend's fic for her. :D

Ugh, tendonitis. I hope it lets up soon.

So I got to the pivotal sex scene(s) yesterday in order to fix things. I read all 8000 words of it, and then couldn't bring myself to change anything. It's good! It doesn't exactly fit what I wanted the character to feel afterwards, but I don't want to ruin her fun either...? Argh.

Word count went down again, too. So yes, I did change some tiny things, but not exactly the way I wanted.

I'm afraid I'll have to go through it again and identify other places to make those changes. I'll get on it now.

ETA: I counted the changes and found that I had added 70 words, and I think they're worth counting (even if the overall wordcount went down).

So I try to get back writing one of my projects. I know what happens next but I'm like, "how you do transitions," lol. What I did instead is type up some ideas in another document, which ended up me finally deciding the prompt I want to do for my fic exchange and I'm pretty excited to start on it soon.
