Bleh, so I just found out something that changes things for my story. The fanfic for the series I've been writing has extra material that hasn't been released in the US, Japanese novels. Someone on Tumblr translated a chapter that gives backstory to one of the characters I'm writing and their parents died while in my story they're alive. (smacks head on wall)

I think I'll need to scrap that story unless I can think of a work a way. At least I can start focusing on my fic exchange.

Edit- Before going to bed last night, I think I might actually thought of something. I'll need to do a chunk of rewriting though.

I feel your pain. I was active in the fandom that literally gave us the term 'jossed.' Look how many histories Roy has in my stories (in fact I still have active stories in the one started long before we knew his 'sisters' were Chris's girls.)

I wrote 100 words and the overall wordcount actually went up again by a few, yay. I am getting happier and happier with that scene. Now onto the not-sex part of it (which I have to completely throw away and redo).

About the sex scenes: well, I am lucky I like them, I guess. If I could, I would write nothing but sex scenes, but sometimes plot insists on being included. *sigh* ;))

oh dear to the non-sex part.

that is a good thing. I'm reshaping my career so I don't have to write sex scenes any more (I have gotten bored with it I think. Maybe some time off will improve that for me)
