weight off week 23

yes, a day early. Tomorrow I have a four hour round trip out to Marietta and back to get mom so she can be with me for my surgery.

Amazingly with all that I ate on the trip I didn't gain (all that walking). I did gain back up to where I started in january but i had to up my insulin to help with healing. That happens.

Right now, I'm not worry too much about weight loss though I'll be keeping this weekly blog up and will probably be back with low-cal recipes. However, for me this is becoming a recovery blog. You can kick my ass if you don't hear me doing what I'm supposed to be therapy wise.

I'm not sure when/what/how my therapy will go. If they get in here and it's not as bad as we fear, then therapy will only be a few weeks and I can go back to weight loss and all that. if it is as bad as we think, it'll be Christmas before I'm freed from therapy. I'll need the support to make it through.

the anxiety creeps in on cat feet

It kept me at the computer all day just playing around trying to keep from thinking. I remind myself that this is going to be a hard few months ahead of me and I should be a little worried. Also if I hadn't let the apt go to hell, I would have less to do now but oh well.

At least I got the clothes washed and the plants planted. Holy hell all the rain has made my garden INSANE. Did I mention I bought a tomato (heirloom) called Bradley? how could I resist. Wrath is now in his container. The only tomato I put in the ground looks like hell. The container ones look good. I miracle growed Newton the fig to give him some iron (thanks rahirah).

Mom will be here tomorrow. I have to go get her. It also means I can't go to a funeral for a former faculty member. She died of cancer this week. Sad since I liked her.

Hey, silvrethorn reminded me I DO have the map to Craigdarroch Castle. Last night's picture was the drawing room.
