I broke my boob
Sep. 21st, 2011 10:33 pmwell the muscle the boob is ontop of any rate. Holy fuck. Somehow, either in PT or fishing dumbass out from under the porch, I've aggravated the pectoralis muscle. Now I'm not allowed to do my PT until this calms down. My left hand is my drinking arm and I can't even get the mug up. I thought I was going to drop my tea cup in class today. The yelp of pain at least woke the students up.
Grandma's assisted living home caught fire today. No one was hurt and the building wasn't really damaged but they got lucky. Grandma had a busy day. First mom took her out to get declared legally deaf (well grandma doesn't know that. she thinks she's getting hearing aids but she it beyond that) and then mom had to go BACK over there to take granny out while the firemen did their thing. Mom went to the casino to unwind and won 300$
The next student interested in being in the health care profession who asks why they need to know all this anatomy/physiology stuff should be banned from seeing a patient ever. I was grading today while talking to my brother to see if there was anything I could do for the injured wing muscle and noticed one student when asked to match the muscle with the body region answered abdominal for the gastrocgnemius and I was laughing (it's a calf muscle) and he argued it was a good choice. gastro has to mean stomach right? That's what your student was thinking. he's probably right.
During this talk he decides he wants to Google earth me.
John - I see some building off the highway
me - that's the apts
John - in the ditch?
me - I keep telling you I live in a crapshack through over the hill. We call 'em hollers around here.
John - where the hell are the other houses
Me - there're aren't any.
John - (obviously not beliving me) Where is civilization?
Me - 12 miles north or 10 miles south.
John - WHERE ARE THE HOUSES? I'm going down 35
Me - that's how I go to work
John - There are no houses! Wait there's one. Why is there only one?
Me - sigh.
