Hopefully good news
Oct. 19th, 2016 11:59 pmThe vet thinks I'm right. The lump on Kanda's neck is a swollen lymph node and he has an ear infection. Kanda also met a beautiful brindle English mastiff who wanted to hug us both, an English bulldog who wanted to lick him and a German Shepard who did, right thru the carrier gate. I will be keeping an eye on it though, just in case (vets here are better with farm animals than pets).
Hey I’m in the news or at least the library's web page.
Hmm I messed up when I was mainlining Welcome to Night Vale (I had gotten out of the habit over the summer and went back from the beginning) no wonder I was confused a bit.
I'm really struggling to write any more. Sigh. Let's hope I kick this before I get to nano.
Speaking of which I need to change my plot. hmmmmm
Oddly my parents were ganging up on me today to apply for a job, not back home, no at Brigham Young. I'm wondering if they're both high. I'm not sure where they got the idea I'd be happy at a religious school, let alone a Mormon one and what part of "I don't like the south west" is hard to understand. Yes, I've been there. No I don't like it. I don't even want to go to Salt Lake next May but I have to for work.
Mom DID concede that I'm right and every house for sale where I want to live is a piece of shit double wide.

Date: 2016-10-20 10:43 pm (UTC)Nice article about you!
That is odd about your parents. Maybe it's just their way of saying "don't give up & keep looking"?

Let my brain explode here for a second...

Date: 2016-10-22 02:55 pm (UTC)I actually am not. I'm a foot/ankle specialist (and a wound care specialist) but the library didn't think anyone wanted to hear THAT! :-)
So since I now teach A&P, they figured I could handle some basics on high blood pressure and heart attacks which yeah. Actually it's hard getting this lecture down to a place where I think I've covered enough normal anatomy so I can talk pathology in a language that lay people can follow.
