one disaster averted

I know I've mentioned being a World Book Night book giver. What I didn't anticipate was the complete lack of guidance which any other time wouldn't have been a problem. However, I'm slammed for time and literally everywhere I asked said NO. We have no non-readers here. whimpers. Finally someone suggested that I talk to the Buckeye Hills adult education center. Long story short, they accepted me and my books with a disappointing 'we give out a lot of books as part of our literacy program but none of them take well to it. They just don't seem to care.' Whee. They might even help me give these books out. And as if I weren't busy enough I have to go to Athens on Friday to get the damn things.

The prices of some of the scarier places are coming down. I'm trying not to convince myself I can save the leaning tower of jackson (but it IS pretty inside. whimpers)

On top of everything I have to do, I also got a chanpter to read in the mail for a text book and I'm gonna do it because I get 150$ if I do. WHEE.

I think i know why my sugar is borked. I think the cyst is back giving the searing pain over my right ovary. whines.

I made mistakes on both exams including severely mis numbering them. Lucky I caught it before I gave them.

Faculty appreciation party

It's the annual part at the winery. I wasn't quite my festive self. I think that cyst is really causing me issues. I was nauseous all day but I DID go and I DID have fun. BA, one of the frat brothers doing this party is an excellent cook. He's probably wasted in the chemistry program really. He's a cook at heart. We had three kinds of pasta and he did make a black forest cake with hand made granche and he brandied the cherries himself. Yes I was bad. Yes I DID eat it. Yes I'm regretting it now but it was SOOOOO good. I aslo got to pet Nikki the Mastiff again. She's just so adorable.

I got a lot of grading put into the grade book and I did manage to edit a chapter. I need to edit and put up my CYA.

Pray for my scarred soldier story.Not sure how I'm going to get this done.

And shoot me for considering a function in Athens then driving back to go to the midnight showing of the Avengers.
