These Dreams
Sep. 1st, 2012 11:08 amIt was a very detailed dream. For some reason I was traveling (again with that) and I have forgotten most of that and at some point one of the young girls (students?) took over driving the 18 wheeler (don't ask) and crashed it right into another dimension where everywhere I looked were heaps of books and pencils.
Harried, disheveled young women and more mature ones cautioned us not to let the pencils/pens fall (these things were almost human sized) If they do, the person making them fall gets sacrificed as a wife to some demon lord. Sure enough my girls knock over several and books too while they were at it. I was trying to hold them up for them when the School of Science chair, my friend EB shows up with a devilish smile and asks if I wanted to take on a project, being the circulating desk librarian in hell.
Then two other coworkers RH and JM start laughing because I'm such a hot mess of a slob that I could never work in a library. I get very indignant and inform them they have never SEEN my library at home that I have 30 years worth of books in alphabetical order and in genres (I used to do this until I got too many for my book cases). EB asks me again if I want the extra job but I woke up before I could decide.
