My thoughts go out to those in Boston
Apr. 15th, 2013 09:47 pmI had pulled up to the Laundromat and saw a woman in there who looked out of place (i.e. she was well dressed and had a netbook clutched to her chest as she watched the overhead TV). She waved me in frantically and it was still just moments after the explosions and they didn't know what was happening.
It sticks in my mind the reporter saying they had personally watched the police dogs sniffing for bombs and wondering how these got past them. I wonder that too.
All I can think of is how lucky they were the one under the grandstand failed to go off.
Another horrible tragedy and that is all I need to say today. Everything else can wait.
