I feel like hell. My jaw is so malaligned that I'm having severe nerve pain, headaches and neck aches that are moving into my shoulder. My ankles decide that my head shouldn't have all the fun. They hurt too. Bah and tonight I'm very dizzy for some reason (not sugar)
I did want to say THANK YOU to everyone chiming in on the nano snippets. Your thoughts and opinions mean a lot to me.

Snippet - Placid's gut twisted. This had to be bad if Winter had assigned two teams before anyone at all had been to the scene. “What happened?”
“Winter didn't say. I just have a location, Rendell Park,” she replied, stepping on the gas. Once on the road, Reanna glanced at him. “What did you do to your leg? If you broke it again, Melantha is going to murder you, and I'd hate to have to work on that case.”
He snorted. “The metal foot is just fine. It was the fleshy one that found the impenetrable wall of books. I think I broke a toe.”
“Maybe if you didn't have books all over....”
“Don't!” He held up hand. “I get enough of the clean up your hovel crap from my brother, who needs to understand that he is crazy and no normal person keeps house as clean as he does.”
“Or as messy as you do,” his partner shot back. He could see her grinning in the dark.
“Keep it up and I'll just go back to sleep and let you do all the work,” he threatened, empty as a politician’s promise.
