Back on line!

Yay for that. I was so annoyed yesterday not to be able to share the good news with you. My talk at the Bodies exhibit went so well. Students and coworkers attended. My parents drove down and surprised me by being there. It was the first time they've seen me in a professional capacity. Strangers were there too. In fact when I was doing the guided tour two young women and their mom (who had driven 4 hours to see this) followed me everywhere peppering me with questions. I was so happy people were curious.

What made me sad was I was the ONLY person to do a talk. OU, Marshal and other Rio profs all turned them down.OU and Marshal could have at least sent grad students who need experience presenting. What a poor showing. I might go back and do more guided tours.

Also I've had two of my stories come back for final edits. Yay! THey'll be available for sale in about 5-6 weeks! (Also it's all the time I have left on this semester. WOW).

And OOOO Lucifer is getting good!

And a belated happy birthday to kiramaru7 Sorry I wasn't online to wish you one yesterday. Hope it was great.

Yay! for getting your internet back!! I'm sooo glad to hear your talk went well! That's just sooo awesoem!! I bet those 3 especially learned a lot! :D
