I didn't accomplish as much as I would want as my head hurts to go with the bad pain in my knees. Still, SNOW DAY. I got up at 6 and we were on a 2 hour delay. I got back up at 8 and we were closed (I still have almost NO snow here but it was deep elsewhere apparently.)
I should have stayed in bed all day. Since I don't seem to do much of anything right. Why bother?
I feel like I spend all day arguing with everyone. Knowing it's a side effect of all the pain and sickness doesn't really help when you can't seem to stop doing it.
I spent too much time trying to fix the sweeper but I DID get it done.
I also managed to edit through three chapters of Blood Red Roulette. Amazing how I can find mistakes my betas missed and I missed. I have red marks right next to mistakes I didn't even see. Head desk. Again, why am I bothering?
I've been taking risks with my blog and the Australian publishing house, Wayward Ink that bought my poor Incubus story. I've been asking to do reviews. Boy is that a double edged sword. For one, giving anything less than 4 stars will get your fellow authors after you like hounds after the fox (and the publishers probably won't be thrilled either). I know that. I've mentioned it before. On the other hand, it also lets me see some good stuff and some stuff that I'm going to be banging my head on the desk if it does well. THe one I'm reading now is one I really wanted to read (so in a way I'm glad I'm not shelling out for it) and it sounded really good in Rainbow Snippets. It's one long sex fantasy (and I do mean fantasy both in fey characters and in nearly painless double penetration without lube....) It's not that it's bad per se but it's nearly PWP. Ah well.
I also burned the shit out of my neck and shoulder when Kanda stepped on my bad knee and I jerked splashing tea all over me. Sigh.
