Animazement is big and Surprisingly stress free. I got to the parking garage just before it filled up. Got a parking space right next to the elevator and since I was preregistered there was NO line in spite of the fact there were thousands of people there.

I didn't really leave the dealers room (but I hear the Japanese drum concert because I'm pretty sure it was right over my head). I didn't even BUY anything but a red bean bun. I am proud of myself. Oh it won't last mind you.

Tomorrow I'll do the the artist alley but I want to be around in case someone wants a book. On the whole we did well. I only sold one but it's just day one. I did vastly underestimate the paper swag. Because yeah people wanted it. Whenever you see people doing con reports they tell you not to bring it because people toss it. Maybe but they sure has hell TAKE it.

I enjoyed meeting the other authors (Shira Anthony who organized it, Grace Duncan, Sarah Madison (who's a veternarian!) and Verona Keys) we keep talking manga/anime. I'm sure I'll be buying some new series.

We went to Shira's apt (which is only 3 blocks away) met her dogs and then we went to Oak City Meatballs (I'd rather the Laotian place but a couple were leery) I don't like meatballs mind you but I got a veggie ball with parmasen cream sauce.
