Mardi Gras Mambo

I didn't remember my beads or get any king cake. I did spend most of the day watching it rain in my office. The whole front was like a water fall.

It's been a pain filled two days. The arthritis isn't liking the rapidly changing weather.

I am working hard to finish that short story for the anthology. I've gotten 900 of the needed 1500 so I can do it but I need time to work. It would help if I wasn't giving mid terms all week (which is why I'm being so quiet).


It was trivia night tonight. I splurged and got the bacon marmalade on the cheese fries. I shouldn't have bothered. It wasn't good. THe trivia night was fun but two of the answers were WRONG. I am still a little pissed about that. I know I know, it's a game, a fund raiser for the French Art Colony. On the other hand, I'm not going to be tempted to play if I'm losing because things are wrong.

I'm exhausted and I've a test yet to make. I hope the hip lets me sleep.
