It's that time of year. If you want to do something for me for the holidays there are a couple of things you can do. You could buy one of my books which you can find in these places

Dreamspinner

Dreamspinner Publications

Nine Star Press

Amazon

BUT I know a lot of us have limited funds and m/m romance isn't our thing so the best way to make my holiday happy if you're so inclined is to head to My Fandom Stocking and create me a little something. I will say I DID cut down a lot of my fandoms this year because it was so unruly and to be honest there were only a few fandom I wanted to write in myself. If you're a long time friend who knows I like something off the list, go nuts. And by all means LINK me up with your fandom stocking if you have it.

And I wrote two three sentence fics and you can find them here

Hellblazer

Star Trek Deep Space Nine

As for the rest of the day, HOW can Christmas suck up so much time? It took me hours to write out cards. I got a few things wrapped and literally that is it. Well I also got a couple stories edited and posted. I feel like I wasted this whole day.

It occurs to me the fanfic meme thing was for me to pick one question but eh, like I said there are so many new to me people here I feel like answering them all

the list )

Describe the differences between your first fanfic and your most recent fanfic.

Well my first fanfic was hand written on school paper by a ten year old who barely knew the rules of grammar and my most recent fic was about one vampire hanging mistletoe off another vampire's cock so she could play with his balls, also written by someone who barely knows the rules of grammar :-).

Seriously though, you can't honestly compare them. I've been writing fanfic for 40+ years. I've obviously grown as an author. I do it professionally these days and don't fanfic nearly as much. But you know, that first fanfic was pretty impressive in its ways. It was at least 20 hand written pages and it had a plot. In fact it spawned a series I wrote for years and even roped another friend into writing in that Star Wars universe. If you think about it, co-authoring a multi story series between the ages of 10-13 is pretty impressive and geeky.
