If I could open portals to hell

I would fill it with banks (I'll give you a heads up ELD so you can run). THREE banks I have three of them not one will let me do international transfers. Okay, that's not exactly true. One will but it'll take a week and they have to phone call me once they're sure it's a real bank. Well I don't have a week and my phone isn't going to work in the UK, but that's another story). The other two won't.

The problem was the tour guide waited until now to give me the bank details so I couldn't get this started earlier. And the paypal is messed up and unusable (hers not mine). So I had to run to the bank and take out a wad of cash (like or not that's what she's getting) because that's safe traveling with right? And my bank once again told me my password was bad. Got that fixed and then when I went back in later to look at if the added bank went thru (not realizing it would take forever and some virgin blood) it locked me out saying I'd exceeded my tries of getting in. Called them. Bitched. They fixed it, told me the ridiculous rules about the stupid ass call rule and then told me for 60$ they'd wire the money to her. I said a) that's awful expensive b) I don't have a wesbanco in this area so how can I go in? WHY can't this be fucking online you twits?

As for the phone, my crappy TracFone doesn't work outside of the USA. Which is generally fine. I don't want anything else. My former career forced me to be an early adopter of cell phones and I've learned to hate them. I DO have an international version of the TracFone. We called them months ago and said oh just add minutes and you'll be fine. We tried that today (our fault, should have tried this earlier but we believed customer service), and the SIM card expired. Can't get a replacement in time. Bangs head.

Ah well, I have Whats app on my phone. It might work in the UK. It might not but I'll have my tablet and laptop so I can always email the parentals to tell them I made it there alive.

Also it's 100 degrees in OH WTF? I'm glad I'm not there but it's nearly that here in Pittsburgh.

Need to call the airport tomorrow and see if the money exchange will be open on a sunday. I would have thought so but I would have thought they'd be open til the last international flight leaves/lands and they aren't!

I finished my summer_of_giles story. Thanks to dragonydreams for the beta. It will still be second draft when I publish it but at least it's done. I'll be fixing it when I get back.
