aaronlisa (and a belated birthday) for finding that Prodigal Son thing. It was WAY later in the year than I thought. Like Months later. Might be why I couldn't find it. I didn't think it would be 4 months after the fact (I knew it was in response to an article).
So, the pre med advisor position went to a man who's never been pre med or gone to med school or you know any of that. He's also a friend and we worked on this shit together for years and will continue to do so. We're both sort of laughing about it but he's embarrassed I didn't get it and said you don't want it, it's not advising it's working with marketing. Um okay you're right I don't. On the other hand I'm still annoyed but I was granted a 'runners up' position as part of a grant writing team which actually would help me. So they're meeting in the middle of when I have classes. Bangs head. And it seriously feels like another case of a very qualified woman in STEM being overlooked.
What I Just Finished Reading: Black Sun by Rebecca Roanhorse. I loved this. LOVED it. I can't wait for book two. Hell it ended on a cliffhanger and I don't even care. That's how much I enjoyed it.
What I am Currently Reading: Cemetery Dance by Aiden Thomas, so far so good!
What I Plan to Read Next: Eye of the Ninja to finish another challenge and probably a host of Prodigal Son Big Bangs
