The temperature was lovely
Jun. 9th, 2022 09:30 pmI wish I had enjoyed it more The depression is starting to get to me. I spent all morning fixing up something for the head of nursing to consider, went to work and forgot it....at least the recyclables are out, the compost done and I got the plants into the greenhouse.
So do I go back tomorrow? I maybe have to go monday as I'm not sure if they'll be there on Friday (there aren't classes in the summer on fridays) I am thinking about going to Huntington (then I think about gas prices and yes let demand destruction begin) I have that broken frame I just bought but it was cost prohibitive to return it. However I've found like 3 m ore pieces of art I want to hang but need frames for so I might do it and go to the comic book store. Now I had a bunch of free comic books that promoed things I might want but now I can't find where I put them so I can add them to my pull list which is almost nothing now.
I am not particularly allergic to poison ivy especially if I wash up fast. Well I wasn't even thinking about it with Rocket sleeping in my garden. The oil was in his fur and now I have splotches on both wrists, one foot (where he was sleeping) and on my neck (where he tucks in) THANKS Rocket.
I know my friend and her wife sent something to my parents' house for me, probably a shirt from their trip. I am so happy. I need to get them something when I go on vacation, something I'm still not that jazzed about.
I know where I really want to go but I just can't do it yet. I'm not ready yet. (Bath England. I really want to do to do some research into the taking of the waters. I truly wish we had sabbaticals back so I could do this. I also keep thinking could I do a YouTube thing about women in history. Would anyone listen? I don't want tiktok because it's a short time limit sort of thing.
I'm also thinking about getting desperate and watching Netflix on my laptop at my office at work because I truly want to see this. You have no idea how much I love The Sandman. I have every of the original run, cards, hats, shit I'm sure I've forgotten by now. To me this is the finest thing Gaiman has written.
