I spent the day writing syllabi as they're due and I forgot about them. Yikes.

Then we walked Secrets of Dumbledore. The parents wanted to see it and I guess we all wanted to see how the story played out after that lousy second movie. I don't like giving that woman any money or attention but ...

Mom liked it. Dad was bored. I was meh. It wasn't as god awful as the second movie but the problem really is the first movie which had humor, joy and heart, doesn't really match the joyless drama of the second two.

I DO have a question for all of you. I'm already thinking about nanowrimo and I know what I should do is finish last year's nano but I'm thinking of working on the horror novel I thought about while I was hospitalized set in the nursing home. Yeah it's basically me with some scary shadow monster.

That's not the question. The question is should I have it set with the Covid restrictions or not? I'm leaning to the latter because a) a lot of places are already tired of Covid stories and b) I can bring in some friends if it's not under restrictions (no one was allowed in to see me and that does add a level of isolation) What do you think.
