The anxiety is playing up
Feb. 8th, 2023 10:10 pmNothing like the full body shakes/paranoia/ anxiety at 4 A.M. This is getting super old.
Today was extra too but it's not a work thing I'm comfortable putting in the blog so...
At least the software issue got worked out and I was told to go price replacement software...in my copious spare time.
I find this disturbing. It's not the first time I've heard of a tik tokker or a podcaster trying to 'solve' the crime and destroying someone's life. I've started shying away from true crime podcasts that are of unsolved crimes. The weird thing is citizen science works and in theory citizen sleuthing might BUT when they go beyond laying out the facts (such as it is known) and start speculating on whodunnit then we are in dangerous areas. even before this (and some of the others) i've been uncomfortable with the idea of speculating and this is why.
What I Just Finished Reading:
Hell and Back - Craig Johnson, this is a WEIRD Longmire book. Honestly it wasn't really a mystery and it came perilously close to what I'd consider dangerous because it resolves around Indian Boarding Schools and tries to 'save' those kids back in time (this would be a coma dream or something spiritual, you don't really know.)
Everybunny Loves Magic by Aaron Reynolds, yeah this didn't really do it for me.
What I am Currently Reading:
I, Robot for a challenge and The Keeper's Six by Kate Elliott which was a giveaway. I will say I, RObot is pretty dull so far.
What I Plan to Read Next: There Comes a Darkness, a book I had gotten an arc of two years ago and forgot about
