the phone was broken
Aug. 1st, 2024 09:44 pma blessing in disguise in some ways because Lucky uncle's wife has always had others make decisions for her (by her choice) and wants it to continue. The viewing is tomorrow.
Did I mention I actually did Camp Nano last month? And that stress had me top out at 55K? I had set the goal at 10K thinking I'd been too stressed to write. I was 45K of wrong.
Have something for fannish 50. So coming out of SDCC have been tons of news all over and there has been some big news for Hazbin Hotel. I might have mention it's now been approved for seasons 2-4 by Amazon since this is the single biggest animation in Amazon Prime Video's history. (given the anti-lgbt, religious far right, this should be interesting) Some more has come out
1. 8 episodes. BOO. Come on Amazon (and others) 8 episodes messes with character development and pacing (someone just gave my Fallen series the best compliment, that the world building/character development were better than canon and I'm like that's because I have time/space to expand on an idea). Yes you can tell a good story with that short run time but even 2 or 3 more episodes would help
2. Viv said there will be MORE music per episode. Um I'm sorry but that's not a selling point to me even though much of the music was good. I'm hoping this means the episodes will be 40 minutes instead of 20. That would help with issue #1 too
3. Viv confirmed we'll get more backstory (oh thank god) especially Alastor's.
4. We'll get more heaven. Eh, better be Pentious and Emily NOT FALLING. I will be super disappointed if she falls, too predicable.
5. We're getting a new character (I'll include the video they showed in Comicon) Baxter. Now he is from the before times (pre animation) and basically he comes off in the clip as a Pentious clone though to be fair, they cribbed Baxter to create Penny. So I hope he becomes a lot more than that
6. No mention yet of Arackniss, Angel's older brother. Judging by the sheer amount of Arackniss fanon, that is who we want to see (sorry Baxter).
7. The Vees will be the big bads. I hope they step up on Vox who was ineffectual in S1, not really menacing at all.
8.As for me I'm hoping we DON'T have anyone going to heaven in S2 (I would certainly hate to say goodbye to Angel or Husk before the end)
I liked VGMarkis's Owl House stuff and he nails most of my Hazbin concerns right here

While we're waiting for the next Helluva Boss episode (oddly like one every other month...) they put out two Helluva shorts (maybe more to come)
The first was okay with Millie and her sister
But this one with I.M.P. at work killed me. It was quite funny (however I did have to turn on the closed captions because it was hard to understand)
