Today's point of light
Apr. 30th, 2025 10:43 pmI got four comments to three different stories which is more than I get all week most days. That made me smile.
10 out of 13 of my nursing students got a 100% on their organ practical. That made me smile.
I got my Star Trek official merch today. That made me smile. That I didn't check the SIZE of the two Star Trek ornaments before ordering made me laugh. Beverly is normal size but motion picture Spock is TINY.
We had out wildlife/bio/chem picnic today. Several students were there. That made me smile. People liked my insalata ceci (chickpea salad) but there was so much food I still have a shit ton of it. Gonna be eating a lot of cecis.
It's Walpurgisnacht and that makes me smile too
Also I've been playing June's Journey as a brain builder/relaxer and today's journey ended a story line with me (June) tossing the bad guy off the cliff and killing him. That made me laugh. I'm like well that was hard core and now I'm walking around like I didn't just murder a rapist/murderer. Snort.
What I Just Finished Reading:
Black Bolt, Vol. 1: Hard Time - I got this for a nonverbal character prompt and he's non verbal except in this where he can talk because his powers were taken from him. OMFG
What I am Currently Reading: - I'm never finishing any of these at this rate
Under This Red Rock - a bizarre YA story set here in OH. I've suddenly lost interest in the book for no real reason. Has that happened to anyone?
Of Manners and Murder - a historical mystery
Bodies and Banners - cozy mystery
What I Plan to Read Next:
Spinning Silver
