And the final straw was
Dec. 17th, 2016 11:38 pmI cracked the lid of one of grandma's casserole dishes. I didn't realize that it was in the box Mom gave me which has been rattling around in my trunk for weeks. Started to cry. I'm never getting this place clean in time to leave so I guess at the end of the day what I need to do in 2017 is this. Slot out cleaning time, even if it's a half hour a day, hell 15 minutes a day and slot out writing timing because otherwise I just piss about on the computer.
I did get some things cleaned. I didn't go to Wal Mart like Mom wanted me to (because I forgot what she wanted me to find and just remembered it literally now). I did get Dad some food gifts (enjoy your jerky dad, it cost a freaking mint).
Some stuff is out in the car now, the suitcase is packed (Kanda cried when he saw it) I won't be going yet but getting there.
My post office ran out of holiday stamps so I got some Star Trek stamps. Yay.
My arm hurts. Okay both hurt but my left one I could hardly move all day. It HURTS. Like in did I tear another rotator cuff hurt (two of the tendons were partially torn but asymptomatic so they weren't repaired because of the sheer length of rehab if all of them had been done). I'm hoping it's related to the weather or I slept on it wrong. It is FORTY degrees warmer today and pissing down rain. Sigh. And now it's REALLY raining.
Day 17 of musical advent I decided to go with another lady of song because I have a tendency to load up on the men. I'm actually enjoying Elle King's rock-a-billy style. We were talking the other day about the exploitation of female singers and the pressure to conform, be thin, be sexy, be this and that and Elle seems to be taking a real fuck that attitude toward it are. She seems to be aiming for a bad girl, trailer trash image (amusing when you realize she's a celebrity kid).
I've heard this one a lot on my local radio (and yes I suppose this is exploitative of men...) I enjoy it.
This one I've never heard until tonight but it was interesting enough to share. I still haven't seen this movie (that's how interested I was in it. I'm annoyed it was made, so tired of remakes).
