Happy Rosh Hashanah to all my friends who celebrate Have a sweet year.


I got my schedule for next semester and it's odd. Usually the spring semester I'm all early morning. this year three days a week I'm not there until afternoon but wednesday sucks at 8-4.

I got my income based repayment reassessment for that big student loan. I'm making SO MUCH less than the year before they dropped my payment 100$. God I have no money so much so that the rapacious loan is like fuck this, we can't get blood from a stone.


Trying to get a handle on my characters, I'm doing ALL the b.s. character development stuff now so I don't waste time during nano. Let me know what you think



LAYER ONE : THE OUTSIDE
• Name: Joshua Zimmerman
• Eye Color: dark blue
• Hair Style/Color: dark blond, worn a bit shaggy and long to the nape of his neck
• Shape of face: somewhat square, sharp chin with a slight dimple. Generous well shaped lips
• Skin tone/Tattoos: tanned from being outdoors, has a fox tattooed on his left upper arm, the Star Trek symbols with LLAP on his right. On his right shoulder he has a small deathly hallows symbol and on the left he has a symbol from Brendan’s world (I’ll have to invent this)
• Body Shape: sturdy and muscular but he’s not bulky.
• Height: 5’9”
• Clothing Style: a jeans and T-Shirt kind of guy, has a huge collection of geeky t-shirts, has several sets of sturdy boots for hiking. He does have some cosplay outfits in his closet, namely his steampunk one.
• Best Physical Feature: smile

• Your Fears: being rejected, of his academic career taking a nose dive
• Your Guilty Pleasure: ghost hunting and cosplay
• Your Biggest Pet Peeve: Students who don’t listen, people with closed minds
• Your Ambition for the Future: Boy that’s a tough one. To keep getting published professionally, maybe write a ghost book and I hope to not be alone forever.

• Lie: I don’t particularly like to lie but if I have to I will.

• Believe in Love: I am a bit of a romantic so yes.
• Want Someone: Another strange question. I assume you mean do I want to be in a relationship. Yes.

• Been on Stage: In high school.
• Done Drugs: I might have smoked some pot, hypothetically
• Changed Who You Were to Fit In: I tried that in high school but pretending I wasn’t smart, I wasn’t a geek and I wasn’t gay still didn’t make the cool kids think I was one of them so if I was going to be bullied, might as well be for what I truly am.
