I petted two therapy dogs today

And even that couldn't make up for how crazy the students are making me. Actually the day began with a 15 minute massage provided to relax the faculty then I petted a golden doodle with a congential missing leg on the way in to my allied health A&P test where I was treated to whining and shitty attitudes about me not having the lab finals done (it too me 6 straight hours to get that many graded but they have no appreciation of that). Tons of them begging for extra credit at the last possible moment (too bad). I pet a German Shepard with a skinned nasal bridge on my way out. Where the doodle was chill, the GSD was NOT letting me past him without me petting him.
Only 6 out of 40 passed the multiple choice part of the exam (had 3 100%s so it was hardly impossible). the second final went much better but after that I was pretty stressed out when my secretary explained why I got the email I did, to go hound my advisees to register for next semester. The school is down 600 HUNDRED students. I seriously might be back on the job market at an age where it's unlikely I'll get a job other than adjuncting which you can't survive on.
Tomorrow I have to go to Chillicothe to have my hip injected.
Ah well two finals down, two to go (not to mention 20 papers to read and grade).
