Another rollercoaster

cornerofmadnessIt technically started at 1 AM when I knocked something sticky all over the floor when it dropped out of the fridge as I was digging for insulin. Today was a sleep-in day and I get called at 8 am and I see it's the hospital. OMG did they find something on my mammogram? No, it was my endocrinologist who is STILL fighting my insurance over my insulins and they wanted to know a) did I get another letter from United Health Care making it sound like they won't let me appeal their decision after saying they would and b) does the letter make any damn sense. Yes I got it No it is the worst thing I've seen written in eons.
About an hour later, I hear saws. I fly across the yard to see those contractors (who told me they would NOT be here today) Oh we were just coming to see you next. Yeah like I'm gonna buy that. They come in and slap some chipped and battered drywall over the hole. Looks great dudes....
I look at my cell and see another call from the hopsital. OMG the mammogram. Nope apparently the endo called both phones and she goes I was on the phone with your insurance for 40 minutes. THey bounced me everywhere and eventually the phone said it was having technical difficulties and hung up. Yeah that happens a lot with them. They promise to keep trying.
I call the dentist about that crown. IT's there. We were going to tell you when you came in for your cleaning yesterday. Um what are you talking about? I would NEVER have made an appointment on a Wednesday because every spring semester it's a horrible day for me. It'll be another 2 weeks before I can get in there and have my tooth fixed. ARGH.
And the Honda dealer doesn't do oil changes after 3 so I have to give up a Saturday for that.
Once at work I was waylaid three times and had to spend two hours after working doing all the things I would have in my office hours.
And Mom had an even more frustrating day than me, poor thing.
On the plus side. I've written nearly 3K in the last two days.
