This is a weird day

For the third day in a row I've woken up 2 hours before my alarm and couldn't get to sleep again so fours of sleep....

Sat at the computer because I couldn't sleep and couldn't figure out who the hell the two people with a birthday to celebrate (as pointed out by Facebook) were and why they had the same birthday (It was ELD's sisters).

Put saline solution on my toothbrush instead of past.

FINALLY went to urgent care. So yeah I have an inner ear infection so I have antibiotics, a drug to dry everything out, another to keep the room from spinning and another to keep me from throwing up. That faculty meeting tomorrow will be such fun after four hours of lab with this on top of it.


And then I found out Hyperion's Son has continuity issues I missed. head desk

Sorry to hear you're having sleep problems. I've been having the same kind of issues, waking up too early no matter how exhausted I am.

Hope your inner ear infection will be swiftly cured!

I'm glad you got to the bottom of your illness, and I hope the meds take care of it quickly for you. Vertigo is no fun at all. I also hope that you got through your faculty meeting okay and that you have the weekend ahead of you to rest and recuperate.

I've been rereading almost all my old Buffy stuff and surprisingly it's all so very readable but yeah typoes. I can't believe I a) never mentioned Dawn knew mind-wiped Connor b) later referenced it but no one will know because I forgot to set it up then c) have Buffy know about it without Dawn every saying so...

At least it's an easy fix but still.

and oh, just finished the third volume of the Angel comic, the Gwen/Connor thing was a big(ish) subplot there.
