cornerofmadnessMom fell, Aunt fell, today cousin was t-boned by a huge caddy and luckily wasn't hurt.
I did jack all today. Just resting but I have no time for that. I have to have 60 things graded by monday and two exams in the bag. Tomorrow was going to suck but it was a weird day. I woke at 5 AM with mind racing. I read for an hour to quiet it. Got more sleep. I DID get one and a half tests drafted so there's that but the afternoon fell apart.
Tonight fared no better. I got an email from Sunnydale Writers, an ancient yahoo group (can't remember if that was pre or post forum days). I was a mod back in the early 2000s and like once a month it sends out a summary of the posting (of which there hasn't been any for a decade). Anyhow it occurred to me that I used to post stories there.
It took a couple hours to weed through it. I found neither Young Lies (but the other two stories in that series, both #1 and #3 but Lies is #2 and not there HOW?) nor Fumbling Toward Ecstasty. Sigh. However I found an absolute crap ton of stories I had utterly forgotten.
I wrote a CLEM story? I barely remember who that is and somehow I wrote a Clem/Faith (in his dreams literally) story for a ficathon. My god the ficathons I used to do.
Without social media I got so much more accomplished. I know that but I wish I knew how to break myself of the habit.
