Now I know why parents drink

Did you know that Chuck E. Cheese serves beer and wine? I did not. I can see why parents might need it (that said I think it's a dangerous idea unless there's a designated driver because damn...).

I met my best friend at Chuck's today with her nine year old. I am still great at skee ball. I have the weirdest athletic ability. In fact, I have mostly none. I was good at volleyball but I was really good at darts and skee ball. God knows why (and alcohol improves my aim as we found at Christmas, told you so Dad. There's a limit to the improvement mind you)

My god that place was noisy. Kids everywhere of course. At least it's doing good so that's nice to see and hey the pizza wasn't bad. We had fun. Wish we had more time but it's winter and she drove out to see me (she's a nervous driver). Silly CHuck E. sneaked up on me. There are pictures. One day I'll be sharing the holiday pics.

She gave me one of her mother's tea cups. It's lovely. Also I made the mistake of going into Home Goods and Big Lots and found too many holiday things on sale. Oops.
