Good game of hide and seek Honda

cornerofmadnessI ran out of windshield wiper fluid in my new CR-V and I had never been under the hood (bad CoM). It took forever to find the damn hood release (inside the left dashboard by the emergency brake). And I managed to put my back out in the process. Woo hoo. It's been bugging me all week but today it went fuck you and I can't even straighten up.
Today was my first time on the tenure committee. I can't say anything more about it but it was an interesting experience. The biggest surprise, only two others on the committee were people I see everywhere (there's like 20 of us who do everything on campus)
Things I will miss about my comic book store: The owner is friends with several of my friends. He told them to tell me he still has my books. He wanted to be sure I knew so I wouldn't miss out on my last books. I will miss that level of service.
And a huge THANK YOU to everyone who chimed in on my fandom question. Apparently ELD and I both remembered that wrong but the implication is the same. Based on intel from Andrew Angel was hung out to dry by Giles (sigh) I do feel some meta coming on. I hope it holds out until I finish my damn chocolate box story.
