The week started in fire and ended in glass smash

I made it through the day easily enough and had to go to Gallipolis to take stuff to the library. I wasn't on the highway 60 seconds when an 18 wheeler kicked up a rock so hard it chipped my windshield and left a piece of rock embedded it. Sigh.

But apparently that sparked my brain. I remembered a student from 2 years ago having a discount coupon for the renn fest which is good because I tried to buy and print a ticket (which was in theory an option) but it would only send it to my phone. I have a crappy TracFone with no Data plan (because I so don't want bothered) and there IS no reception out there (even my friend has issues with her iPhone out there) so I refused to buy it and trust it to come up on my phone. ANyhow it would only have saved me 3$.

So when I got to the library I asked about it. The young girl working the desk looked at me confused. The older one popped up and came back with a handful. It wasn't just a few bucks off. It's 50% off!! WOOT!

Of course I still feel like hell because my sugar is STILL yo-yoing between 100-350. I know I have an ovarian cyst raising hell. I'm going to have to eat nothing but protein to try to get this calmed the hell down.

I started the windshield claim but if I get safelite I either have to drive 70 miles to Huntington (which is okay. I want to go anyhow but not for 2 weeks) or wait for 5 hours to come here IF they will. I'll call the local guys on Monday. Chances are it won't crack thru. Last cracked windshield (that I wanted to break) lasted for years with the chip. Watch this one break tomorrow.

I finally sat down with the second episode of Prodigal Son. I hope this makes it. I'm loving it.
