Last day of running around

Mom and I went out shopping (as tomorrow I have to pack) I picked up some pillows, a pair of wooly socks (which turned out to have a separated upper which I'll need to sew, too cheap to go back),some celery root that I want to play with and we went to a pizza place I don't get to often (so good) and stopped at a new to us gyro place (so good, SO MUCH meat).

At Home Goods we met someone I didn't thing about existing, a golden doodle who I thought was a puppy but turned out (to the owner's shock as well) wasn't the mini poodle dad but rather a toy so this doodle was about the size of a fox hound. SO DAMN FRIENDLY. He licked mom and crawled up her like a cat. Then he did the same for me and then tried to get into our cart. Mom would have stolen him.

We got home and learned that someone at Fresh Thyme made a boo-boo. Instead of putting the three pack of breakfast breads at what I suspect was 6.99 someone inputted the code as .69 cents. Whoo hoo.




In your own space, set some goals for the coming year. They can be fannish or not, public or private.

1. Finish expanding Cassadaga Nights since it's under contract

2. finish These Haunted hills

3. Clean up and submit Splinters of Silver and Cold Iron (only been saying that nearly a decade)

4. Start the UF novel

5. Pick a Buffy Story for wipbigbang

6. Finish Come Undone

7. Finish at least ONE damned scientific paper

8. take better control of my health which sucks

9. find some way to turn my working vacation into something of a vacation vacation

10. make some better career moves
