This struck me as a fun prompt. I was out in the snow for my every third month lose blood to test vials day (nine this time. Beginning to wonder ...)

ETA I managed 1011 words to finish a Prodigal Son draft of something that was supposed to be a short funny thing with Gil and his car but isn't short or funny + 263 words on a Prodigal Son requested story

Day 8 - 1307 words, one challenge fic written and posted to the community it was written for. I'd hoped to write fot two challenges, but this one ended up much longer than I'd expected so it was all I managed. I'll see if I can do something for the other challenge tomorrow.

I edited and posted the SWAT story, so it is, at long last, done. I'm both curious to see and also a little bit dreading what (if any) response it gets.

So far, the only comment has been outraged about the treatment of one of the characters. I'm not clear which one. ;-) But as it was terse and, I think, a threat, I can't really tell? Uh...*shrugs*

Transcription, revision, and new composition, to the tune of 2K new words. I think I've figured out what direction I want to take the story from here, but I've also got a honking big piece of backstory I need to figure out soon -- I'm going to need it pdq.

They're local[1] kids[2]. Their live shows are amazing and they are so nice.

Day 8 -- 300+ words on a new part to the Lord & Liegeman series/thing, though it probably isn't the third part, more like the fourth or fifth.

Oops, I forgot to check in for the 7th. Words were written that day, though! They were just written so late I crashed to bed afterwards. They were written on a potential Chocolate Box treat.

On the 8th, I worked on sorting out my novel plans/outlining.

Just a bit over 200 words for me. Still felt wretched, and most of the day was taken up by the family ado, too, so very little time and nearly no spoons. Considering that I even did well, I think. *g*

Day 8 was mostly 3SF fills as the whim struck me, which is good, and trying to do some stuff for the Electric Challenge.
