I decided to borrow this from [personal profile] zwei_hexen almost word for word! I thought it was fun and heck if you're willing to share I'm always willing to nose into some fanfic, might even find me a new fandom. You never know!

Do you have a fandom obsession you’ve been writing in for weeks? Are you one of the few and proud in a tiny fandom? Do your stories need more love?

In an effort to make our little WED community even more enjoyable and to encourage and support each other’s writing, we would like to invite you to recommend your fiction in the comments to this post. We thought it might be a nice tradition to begin: A safe and simple place for us to share links to our own works at the end of each WED month. (Naturally, continuing the tradition is up to individual hosts, so if you don’t want to do such a post, please don’t feel like you must. We’re just trying to share the love! J)

A few simple considerations:

Age restrictions and content warnings: Please keep in mind this journal is public and has no content warning. For your convenience, we've put in an age restriction to this post only, so you can also post headers and summaries to higher rated stories. However, please put in warnings if what you share might contain possible triggers, and put any mature and/or NSFW content (images, text examples etc.) behind a text link only, to keep this journal a safe place to visit for everybody.

Comment size, images and headers: As cuts don't work on comments, please crop/downsize images to 600 pix max for the longest side and limit text samples to about 20 lines. If you post an AO3 header with a wall of tags, please limit them to about 4 lines here and indicate that there are more.

Fandom names: name your fandom in the subject line of the comment with your rec, and also to make different comments if you're reccing different fandoms.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them here or to drop a note to me

I'm looking forward to seeing what you’ve been working on!

I'm chugging slowly along on my Tony/Bucky Sentinel/Guide fic like the little engine that could. Lots of tromping through the woods in the middle of the winter so far. And killing Hydra agents. Chapter 4 is new this month.

That's a very literal headache. I've had to dim my screen so that it doesn't affect me as much but I still get a lot of headaches when I'm on my computer.

Has to be real books for me, with physical pages to turn. ereaders are useful for some people but nothing will replace books.

I've never managed to set my ereader so I can read it comfortably. The text is either too small or I can only see part of a page =/

I wouldn't mind if the darn thing would scroll so I could see the rest, but I'm so useless with tech that I've never managed to get it readable o_O

Oh dear, totally not! PDFs are the worst for digital reading, and get even worse on an e-reader. ;o)
Sorry for butting in here. I'm a huge e-reader fan myself, because of my vision problems; I wouldn't be able to rad much at all any more if I wasn't using one. Reading on a computer is no alternative for me for various reasons, so I'd also not be able to read any fanfic. I also love printed books as such, and even acquire new ones in certain editions for the haptic pleasure of it. But for proper reading it needs to be digital, or I'd have to limit myself to half an hour to an hour max a day, but sitting upright at full brightness which then causes its own sets of problems.

But I'm sure your problems with your device don't need to be like this; it sounds really odd that you should have the problems you mentioned, no matter the brand and its options. I'd be very happy to help you figuring it out where the problem is and how to take care of it.
I suppose it's very likely an issue of converting what you want to read to a format suitable for your reader. It's easy to do that with free software, and I'm confindent I can help you getting this to work without too much hassle. ♥

Thanks for the offer, if I ever dig it out again I might take you up on it, but at the moment I have so many paper books I want to read there's no point me getting stuff for my ereader. I don't have enough reading time for the books on my shelves. My eyesight isn't the best, but I can still read fanfic on my computer, and books in bed, so I'm managing okay. I might get back to you at a later date if I decide I want to load fanfic on my ereader, but first I'd have to dig it out and find out what make it is, and I'm not sure where it ended up. Probably buried under craft stuff somewhere... I'm not a tidy person, lol
