For the 14th, I wrote about 1,5k of nonfic and posted my exchange fic to two other archives - at least no new formatting needed as I can just copy&paste from the AO3 there, but both have a bit of a complicated system to fill out all the setting details, as they're Tolkien-centric and take care of all possible options. *g*
I can also already report in for today (15th), with about 500 words for a short story for the next upcoming fannish event. Sadly, for the last year this year (at least under the usual circumstances), each March is the Back to Middle-earth Month (I'm going to tell about it in more detail in the favourite place thread tomorrow or so). The fest encourages to work on existing works or take up old unfinished works for the challenge as well, and I dug out two stories inspired by older runs of the fest, to hopefully get to finish them this year. *g* We're having a prompt generator for various setting options and first and last lines, and I'm working at two short back-to-back stories about the same event but from the POV of two people, and hopefully will also tackle the unfinished sequel to this later on.

Made notes today for about an hour, mostly on what the antagonist's plan is. Didn't lead to actually writing anything new but I think I'm getting nearer to how things end and have a better idea of where things need to change as well as some crucial scenes that need to be added.

I'm trying, I actually skipped on a few weeks back, but I have OCD and if I'm at all stressed it makes me panicky if I don't complete all the challenges. Stupid, I know, but I can't always persuade my brain that it's okay not to do all the challenges all the time. It's not so bad with the ones that don't have deadline, I can always do them some other time, but if there's a deadline... *sighs*

I had to back off more because I can't do the pro and the fan stuff together like I used to. Not enough hours in the day and I'm getting older

I've managed to train myself to abandon books too. I've lost count of how many I've tossed out when I've found I was losing interest.

That's why I've been backing away from reviewing on Netgalley so much. If they give it to me for a review then I feel obligated.

that's what I tell the students as every chapter in A&P ends with aging effects on whatever system we're in. Technically it starts at 25 but you don't really start feeling it for a couple more decades

I've missed a bunch of check-ins because life has been, uh, life *general hand wave at things* but I have written every day that I didn't yet check in for. Mostly editing my Chocolate Box fic, but also starting a new ficlet and writing down story ideas and adding a bit to my so-called ambush project.
