I did head out but let me say I did not expect the Ohio River to be THIS MUCH over its banks. For god's sake it's winter but it's been raining in the north. It's been raining here. It was against the road for like 30 miles and because it was like 14 last night there were ice flows.

My comic book store had my pull list but it was confusing. It's like the Buffy and Angel reboots have merged or something is missing (they looked it up but they couldn't see that there was anything other than this). And to my absolute glee, there is a new Hellblazer line and they pulled it. But also they pull variants (I hope to hell they aren't pissed I don't buy them all because I told them I wouldn't.) Sadly they only had the ugliest one for Hellblazer #2. Sheesh it's bad.

the funny thing is I wanted to try the much vaunted Black SHeep restaurant. I find it...literally across Pullman Square from the book store but I only see it after I pull out of the pay garage and realize I HAVE eaten there for brunch. Next time I'll go because you get 4 hours for a dollar at the garage.

I went to my usual place for Mexican but picked the wrong thing. Don't get me wrong. It was yummy but it was a chile relleno stuffed with shrimp and scallops. You can't reheat that so it was way too much food (and I did shove it all in)

I hit MIchael's and I found body parts charms which I had to have for my steampunk along with a few other things.

Macy's had two shirts that needed to come home with me because for some reason I needed a blue cardigan sweater. Also I had no less than three suit jackets in my hands. I pout them all back because do you know how many I have? Also there was an UGLY red and black flower shirt by City Chic (new to me) that was actually an unitard. How who the hell wants to unsnap every time they have to pee? I wanted to get some Clarks for work (shoes) but even though it was a holiday weekend and they had just two cash register people in the shoe dept so you had to wait in line to even ask to try on shoes and there were like 6 people in line. You keep those shoes, Macy's. Maybe this is why you're struggling to stay in business. When you start cutting customer service there is NO reason not to buy this shit on line.

I found a new to me manga Drifting Dragons (I think) that is the source for a new Netflix anime which I can stream. I picked it up and struggled on home, so very tired.

Maybe I should avoid going to town. I spent too much money. Tomorrow and Monday will be busy as now I have to wash clothes, get groceries and then write two exams and finish notes. Yikes.

And it's International Fanworks Day and you can find my story for this here. It's Prodigal Son, The Memory of Pain (It's mostly Malcolm Bright and Gil Arroyo, told from Gil's pov, because I love Dad!Gil)

Heee! :) I had a shirt like that once. The appeal, in colder weather, was that it never ever came out of my pants. It stayed exactly where it was supposed to be and did its job of keeping my stomach warm. :D
