Write Every Day: Day 21
Feb. 21st, 2020 03:52 pm
Now I'm just sitting in a bar. Probably the happiest I've been all week. It's been a weird day that began with me running thru the halls screaming Donna I'm going to steal your brains and ended with Donna and I helping students dissect their sharks that were pregnant and everyone is singing Baby Shark. Biologists, we ain't right.
ETA- I managed 581 words on a Prodigal SOn story I'm not even supposed to be writing.
Here's the tally. If I've forgotten you or you signed up a bit late, let me know. I'll be sure to add you!

Today at lunch, one of my coworkers asked what I was writing. "A novel?"
"Yes," I said. (Well, a novella, anyway.)
No one believed me, though. They spent the next ten minutes joking around that I was writing about them, a la Harriet the Spy, and so I went back to getting down the next plot point.

Date: 2020-02-21 11:31 pm (UTC)I wrote 410 words on the Bond/Q fic before heading out for chores, errands, a movie (Birds of Prey), a late lunch, and, of course, mall-walking for exercise. Now, it's an evening of Brokenwood. Life is good. (Life will be less good starting Monday. *sighs*)

Date: 2020-02-22 07:47 am (UTC)22nd: I spent a lot of the day working on my difficult chapter and feel like I made a lot of progress. It's not finished, but it's a lot closer. (Did not track my word count.)
