Day 27 - 1405 word. One challenge ficlet, most of a second for a different challenge, and a bit of editing.

Can't believe February is almost over. Seems like only yesterday it was January 1st.

Man, where did February go?

I had a snow day and had intended to get a ton of grading done, but the things I'm grading are so bad that I just...couldn't. I graded 9 of them, so that's something, and did a few chores, etc. I also added 697 words to the Bond/Q story.

I KNOW. How am I almost at mid-terms already? I want to curl up in the corner and whimper.

Oh ouch, that's horrible and trust me I get it. I feel like I'm spitting into the wind some days.

But yay for progress on the Bond/Q thing

Ugh, that sounds horrible! *sympathies* Much better be writing instead! :o) (I found out yesterday that the new Bond is out hereabouts in about four weeks. Yay!)

So, I have no idea if I'm "in" or out here at this point. I was dying of stress, decided to drop this as an obligation, had my muse go "wait, but this one story" and something that's been stuck for nearly a year got 5k words on the 25th, 4k on the 26th, and another 4k today, and is now finished.

So, uh... I dunno?

I'll add you in and honestly, in spite of the challenge title, there's nothing to gain if every day stresses you out. It's designed to help find a habit that keeps you going. As far as I'm concerned, if it's just weekends because that's our only free time, it's still all good.

Got a couple hundred words this morning after I woke up way too early.

28th: 553 words of lead-up-to-smut when I should've been doing other (not-writing) things (or working on the WIP), la la la. :-)

I've missed a bunch of check-ins, sorry, the good old mental state has been all over the place and focus has been hard. I've written on all the days in between, though, so that makes... 20 to 27. Not a lot on most days, but at least I've been writing short bits of various original projects and a modest amount of fanfic.

Don't worry. I understand. I'll add you in and yay for all the progress.
