Did I get too cocky?

Was I too happy that I actually finished ALL the exams/homework/lab tests for all three of my nursing classes (I had to get them done because I have ones with no internet so I need to print this tomorrow). I was thrilled. I was elated. I went to make myself some fresh ravioli and went to drain the buffalo mozza delights.

The tiny sink in my kitchen causing a huge splash back as I drain the pasta and now I have a sizable second degree burn on my foot which even though its neuropathic sure as hell feels this pain. Because every diabetic needs a scalded foot. I have no burn cream. Even water touching it hurts. It's blistered nicely.



And here's the kicker the fresh pasta was spoiled (literally after I drained it I saw huge patches of mold on it that wasn't visible when I tossed it in) I thought the specks were black pepper in the dough until I saw the huge mold. Hurl. I ended up microwaving a Stouffer's spinach soufflé (I don't like most frozen food but I like those things)

And to top the day off I had a wake up for the books. I heard a huge amount of noise outside my window that sounded like helicopters and saws. I look outside and sure enough about 200 yards from my bedroom was a helicopter dangling a chainsaw. The electric company is removing trees from the lines

But on the other hand some how I have written FIFTY Prodigal Son stories since October. What the hell?!? And I'm going to post up # 51 as soon as I post this. I think I need help.

And weird, I started watching The Flash. It said it was #1 of the season this fall but I saw this on the plane going to Ireland. I'm confused.
