Moving Day

Well the moving van is packed and I'll be heading off tomorrow morning. Pray that the two college kids who my landlord asked to help me (for generous pay might I add) actually show up. That'll keep Dad bitching to a minimum. It's a four hour drive down there. Dad will put up the curtain rods and help me put up the bed rails and the futon. Mom will do things like iron curtains. Then they go back on Sunday (and leave the unpacking to me which is how I like it!!) Right now a lot of books and pictures/knickknacks aren't going because I know I'll be back in PA shortly to handle my IRA paperwork (I transferred it from FL to my parent's bank since I keep moving) I can bring books and stuff down then.

Luckily it's supposed to be in the mid-80's so that's not so bad. I have to get Dish or Direct TV. No cable. WAAAH. I hate the satellite. It goes out and you can only tape the channel you're watching. I can use that on Tuesday because someone scheduled me for a ten hour day that day. Let me kill them. No cable modem. triple WAAH.

Speaking of modems, I'll be going with Verizon so I'm hoping they have someone who can get my internet up on Sunday. (crosses fingers). I should have my YIM back then so you can feel free to start pinging me.

For those of you who have my new address, like I said I'm going to try to get a PO box (and if you didn't get the address and want it, email me). Hope to get a bank on monday as well so I can finally pay off all those medical bills...now to get paid.

I chose none of them and opted to spend my $$$on a washer/dryer and some pillows and an egg crate and slip cover for teh futon
