So sweaty so gross. How is it June already by the way? I'm a little at the point of being confused as to what to do. I know my student can't finish by the end of next week. THe week after is my birthday and I'd like to go home (in spite of the fact my lazy ass has not cleaned this apt yet.) for that. But that would have me running home, running back here and then they want me back for the 4th. this is about a 4 hour 240 mile drive. Sigh.

Tried to onboard a student today who ended up with an online transcript no one bothered to give me so I'm going to have to do that once I get that. Sigh.

Look at you posting intoabar! I have effectively dropped out, though the mods said I can post before September, so I've still got the plot bunny in a doc in case things settle and I can turn my attention to it later.

The humidity was awful here yesterday, too. I managed it during the day with fans, but just before I took my shower I closed all the bedroom windows and turned on the AC because I knew I would have trouble sleeping. And Pip is worse in the heat than I am, at least for sleeping.

If you can only make one trip home, can you combine your birthday with the 4th?

IT's super humid again today. My a/c has been on for weeks. Sigh. It's too close to 90 (or over it) for about 2 weeks.

Ugh, that sounds sucky! We only had the high temps for a few days and then it went back down again so it was bearable.
