Remember those missing mints? I thought it might be a mouse. It was. It eat my water bottle too. Pooped on my dash. Couldn't find WHERE it was hiding. I thought okay here's another mint, let's see if it got out. Nope, took the mint over night. Filled car with traps. got him. Leaving traps in case there was more than one.

It was strange, I was walking in our woods and said hey dad, look, this oak has all its leaves messed up. I've never seen anything like this. Later my uncle who lives across the street, had some environmentalists in to see if the land is bad because all the trees are dying. Ground is okay but there's now another invasive exotic bug destroying oaks. Sigh. The downside of international trade.

Just found out we have to have all our classes online (just in case) following some rubric and they have to be done in time to be vetted which is not how things are usually done. I will probably be in Ohio longer than I thought. I was running back for a week or so for that student but I can't work here. I might be there most of July. Ah well, like I was going anywhere anyhow.

We somehow have an infestation of the little buggers in the basement... we've gotten 5 or 6 so far. We think they were let in accidentally because there is literally no other way for them to get in. Maybe just a pregnant one and it had little ones... what they ate I don't know.

Ugh that sucks. I think this came from my computer room where the old luggage was. I've already caught 3 from there. but they're not in the kitchen so I have no idea what they're eating either
