I wish it wasn't 95 degrees out. Holy hell, it's not normally this hot in June in PA. At least I got to spend it at my brother's. He and his wife threw an early father's day party, mostly smoked meats and tons of other stuff. And he has a new pool. I spent all my time there.

Dad decided he wasn't well enough to go (either spent too much time working outside or blood sugar too high) but whatever (honestly I could do without whatever nonsense he'd quote from Fox News which he likes to do at these things or he could keep asking should we delete stuff and stormed like the fucking baby he is because we wouldn't let him watch what he wanted, meanwhile he's the one with the controller, picking what we're watching, all because we said he wouldn't like the mystery we recorded).


My brother had a bottle of Angel's Envy which I wanted to try (expensive crap) it was really nice bourbon which is saying something since I'm not big on bourbon.

We got to 91, which is, I totally agree, ridiculous for June! On our last walk I told Pip that I hadn't checked the thermometer before we left, but it felt a lot cooler out. It had dropped to 82. I was like, only when it drops 10 degrees from 91 does 82 feel cool!

Yay for being able to spend time in the pool, though!
