I was at work for seven hours today as a student realized trying to shove a semester's worth of work into one day was going to be LONG. And then there was a subtle threat that if we don't put our stuff up online we'll be replaced with adjuncts (you can imagine the reaction to that) and then stuff has been stolen from the labs (scales, so we're pretty sure the housekeeping staff has been taking and selling them to drug labs)

Thank god I bought pizza yesterday because my plans to go grocery shopping was scuttled due to how long this all took.

I did get smart and remember that there were defined learning outcomes that come with the book so now I don't have to type up my week by week bullshit for online. Copy and paste to the rescue.

Found some online labs I can use. Have more online lab training tomorrow. I also found that a) my watermelon loves the greenhouse. It grew about 200% in a week b) the greenhouse isn't watering right. Sigh.

On the top of all this dumpster fire here FINALLY come my novella edits. You have a week. I told them good luck. I'll try but I might not be able to do, I'm sorry.

And for whatever reason I couldn't stay asleep last night. Hopefully I'll collapse in bed tonight

And kiramaru7 used some kind of dark magic and found my song. Okay I KNOW I've lost my hearing. I lost it 20 years ago and I'm sure it's getting worse. I Swear to GOD I heard 'I take you to love'. Well the reason I couldn't find it with that is the lyrics are "I DARE you to love."

Other good new Lucifer will get a 6th season. And in weird news, I know the Emmy's final nomination list isn't out but ALL the actors from Prodigal Son are on it BUT not Aurora Perrineau (Dani). Blink blink. Even Endicott made it for guest actor. Now there's a chance she'll be added but to have every actor but her on the list seems weird and very wrong (and insulting)

I DO listen to music in the car but my only local station went from 80, 90s and today to 70s-80s which bores me. I heard this on the drive. I do like Kelly took.

Work is VERY crazy making.

Yes, I've worked with about a half dozen indie publishers and they ALWAYS give me 7-10 days, like this low paying work is my only job....
