Yesterday I was in the office. For a couple of years now, we've been saying we wanted the physics lab to be the second anatomy lab as a) it was meant to be b) needs to be because my lab is too small for the student body in my lab.

Well the physics prof has been let go and we are to be using an adjunct which is idiocy of another order and I don't want to talk about that. Anyhow, the lab is nice. It has OLD physics stuff built into the desk but that stuff was so 1970s-80s. We doubt it's used.

But then we went into the storage room and it's a museum, a frakking time capsule. I can't even believe it. One it's huge. Two there is stuff that's obviously from the 60s and 70s, dozens of just everything. I doubt that any of it is used in the modern physics lab. We don't even know where to begin. Does anyone want this stuff? Does it all have to go in a dumpster? Can we even toss it?

I found a trunk that looked just like the girl in the box box from Prodigal Son. I had to open it. It was a telescope we think. There are so many boxes in this place. I want to open them all!
