Today was grey

cornerofmadnessOutside and inside my head. It wasn't a good day. It shouldn't have been bad but it was, mostly because of my brain. At the very least I got most of my notes up online (the recordings, the other stuff, ran into troubles and got frustrated)
What I need is to find the strength maybe to completely cut off social media and the news for a week. It's feeling so heavy I can't move. Literally. As in I spent a half hour curled up on the couch unmoving.
I'm trying to relax, finally getting to rerecord an episode of Prodigal Son that was messed up. I forgot how funny the crime scene banter was in Death's Door.
As I said it was gray all day but around 8 pm it broke up. Crosses fingers I can get out there and see the Perseids

Buffyverse - Giles, no doubt about it and Willow too while I'm at it. They're both just my sort of person really, lots over overlapping interests.
Lucifer - Elle would be fun to hang out with but if I had to pick just one, well then Lucifer. He's a fun date. He's hot and might as well have a good in with the Prince of Darkness just in case.
Fullmetal Alchemist - I'd have to flip a coin between Roy Mustang and Maes Hughes. Roy is an interesting smart dude. Maes would make me laugh.
Prodigal Son - Hmm it wouldn't be a bad thing to have Jessica as a friend, nice to have a billionaire to help you out but it would probably come down to Gil and Edrisa. Gil is such a doll baby, cute, and KIND. Edrisa and I are too much alike. We'd either be besties or hate each other.
ETA -Perseids watching revealed: 8 shooting stars, every mosquito in the world (my place is on a creek), 6 bats (1 who kept circling) a raccoon who I scared, 2 opposums who were like who are you? and a chorus of frogs in the creek.

the possum seemed rather put out I was in her haunt
